Parking prices in Ljubljana (2026)

What parking costs in Ljubljana depends on where you park, the type of car park and how long you stay. Below are the current prices for street parking by zone, parking garages, LPT public car parks and Park & Ride. Street parking is paid every day, including Sundays and public holidays. Prices valid from 12 January 2026.

From 6:00 to 24:00 the first 3 hours cost €2.00 per hour and each further hour €3.00. The night rate (24:00–6:00) is €4.00 per night. Example: 5 hours during the day = 3 × €2.00 + 2 × €3.00 = €12.00.

LPT monthly passes

The H-2, H-3 and H-4 passes are valid in LPT garages, and the SH-1 pass at the Trg OF car park. Other garages have their own prices and terms.

Monthly rentals are limited to at most half of the spaces in a car park (with exceptions). Annual rental (€330 per year) is only available at selected class III locations.

Park & Ride car parks are for drivers who continue into the centre of Ljubljana by bus. The price includes two LPP city bus rides on the same day (for example into the centre and back), loaded onto an Urbana card.

P+R is by far the cheapest option for day visitors. Even 5 days a week costs only about €32 per month.

Parking at P+R Dolgi most costs €1.50 for 24 hours and includes two LPP city bus rides on the same day (for example into the centre and back). P+R Dolgi most is open every day.
How do I pay for parking in Ljubljana?

Where are the parking garages in the centre of Ljubljana?
In the centre there are the LPT garages Kongresni trg, Kozolec, Rog and Ilirija, and garages run by other operators: Kapitelj, Šentpeter, Trdinova and Meksiko (BOE SLO), Komenskega, Trg republike and Šumi Center. Short stays cost about €2.00–€3.00 per hour; a monthly pass for individuals costs €150–€180.
Street parking or a parking garage: which is better?
Street parking is cheaper (€0.70–€1.70 per hour) but time-limited: mostly 2 hours in zone 1 (4 in some streets), 6 hours in zone 2 and 10 hours in zone 3. Garages cost more (about €2.00–€3.00 per hour) but have no time limit, so they are better for longer stays in the centre. For a whole day, Park & Ride is the cheapest option (€1.50 for 24 hours including LPP bus rides); for regular parking, a monthly garage pass pays off.
