Parking in Ljubljana (2026): zones, prices and rules
Street parking in Ljubljana is divided into three paid zones. It costs €1.70 per hour in zone 1 (city centre), €1.00 in zone 2 and €0.70 in zone 3, and it is paid every day from 6:00 to 22:00, including Sundays and public holidays. At night a flat rate of €2.00 per night applies. The cheapest way to park for a whole day is Park & Ride for €1.50 for 24 hours, including two LPP city bus rides on the same day.

When do you have to pay?
The day rate applies every day from 6:00 to 22:00, including Sundays and public holidays. From 22:00 to 6:00 a flat night rate of €2.00 per night applies in all three zones. You can only pay or extend up to the zone's time limit; after that the car has to be moved.
How to pay
Pay at the parking meter (cash or card) or with the Urbana or EasyPark apps. The apps charge only for the time you actually park, so you do not need to know in advance when you will leave.
Park & Ride: the cheapest all-day option
Park & Ride (P+R) car parks on the edge of the city cost €1.50 for 24 hours and include two LPP city bus rides on the same day. See the list of P+R car parks.
Parking garages in the centre
The city parking company LPT runs garages at LPT Kongresni trg, LPT Kozolec, LPT Rog, LPT Ilirija. They cost €2.00 per hour for the first 3 hours, €3.00 per hour after that and €4.00 per night (24:00–6:00), with no time limit. More in parking garages in Ljubljana.

Resident permits
Residents of the paid zones can buy an annual permit for their zone: €100 per year, one permit per dwelling, permanent residents only in zone 1, €100 per year for the first permit, €200 for the second in zone 2 and €60, €120 and €180 per year for the first, second and third permit in zone 3.
