Distances are measured from the centre of the street to LPT and other car parks listed on ParkinLj, so they are approximate for long streets. On-street parking in the zones is not included.

How we collect the data

LPT publishes a list of the vehicles currently held at its car pound. ParkinLj checks this list every hour and keeps every record, even after the vehicle has been collected and LPT has removed it from the list. This builds an archive of tows from 21 May 2026 onwards. Vehicles that were already at the pound before we started (mostly abandoned ones) are included with the towing date given by LPT. The list of individual vehicles and the search are on the towed cars page.

LPT only gives the street where a vehicle was towed, without a house number. We therefore place each street at its centre point and assign it to the district that contains that point (streets and district boundaries from OpenStreetMap). For long streets that run through several districts (such as Dunajska or Celovška cesta), all tows are assigned to one district.
